The power of layering through transparency.

My work started on traditional canvas to quickly evolve toward the use of Glass after many years of researches and experimentations.

The Glass, as a support, has always fascinated me due to its transparency as well as its capacity to provide depth.

It is for me the perfect material on which I can express myself and compose my universe.

ON GLASS

The power of layering through transparency.

My work started on traditional canvas and quickly evolved toward using glass after many years of research and experimentation.

Glass as a support always fascinated me because of its transparency and its ability to
provide depth.

For me, it is the perfect material to express myself and compose my universe.

INK AND SAND

“Confronting opposites... reaching a balance"

INK

A colored liquid that, thanks to its dense color and vivacity, reacts instantly to changes,
movements, and air, that changes its shape while leaving a trace of its past.

To me, it represents the short scale of time.

SAND

A material whose shape and composition show the marks of time.

Constantly evolving, to me it symbolizes the large scale of time.

GOLD LEAF

"L'hypothèse Stellaire"

The most popular theory points to supernovas—exploding stars—as the origin of gold.

Gold, for me, is the material most in tune with the cosmos: a complex solid element that exists in a small quantity inside every single human body.

"I have always had a special relationship with gold. Being of Indonesian heritage, I felt the need to explore Asia more closely and immerse myself in the beauty of the
gold-ornamented temples. I truly believe that gold is a cosmic element that, like the sun, illuminates our universe and our spirit”.
